Garment Design and Training Services Center Announces the Selected Companies to Participate in the Jordanian-Italian Project (JMODA)
AMMAN, JORDAN, December 23, 2009 /Apparel - Textile PR News/ -- Garment Design and Training Services center (GSC) has decided on the companies to participate in the Italian-Jordanian project (JMODA) who will get the technical support from this project, during the steering committee meeting that was held last week at the center's premises, in presence of Mrs. Anita Travaini Garment Marketing Expert of the project and Mr. Marco Sebastiani Manager of FINEUROP.
Twenty two companies out of twenty seven were selected as they comply with the previously set criteria for eligibility to be provided with technical support, each company has been diagnosed individually by local experts and advisers.
From her side GSC CEO Mrs. Raghad Al Khoja said: "the selected companies will be provided with the needed technical support, in addition to upgrade their capabilities to enable the local manufacturers to export high quality products to the European markets.
On the other hand Mr. Mario Sandri Project Manager of JMODA Added: "the next step will be by bringing experts from Italy specialized in each of the products those selected companies manufacture.
It is worth mentioning that GSC is a Jordanian non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims at thrusting the development of SMEs in the clothing industry, especially those who have good prospect of growth both on national and international markets, through providing specialized technical and training programs for the benefit of the garment industry in Jordan.
