RYZ has released the first sneaker in the RYZ Creative Panel Series, "Cops Hate Me" by BOMBIN' Magazine.
/Apparel - Textile PR News/ - Portland, OR, September 20, 2008 - RYZ has released the first sneaker in the RYZ Creative Panel Series, "Cops Hate Me" by BOMBIN' Magazine. The RYZ Creative Panel is a select group of well-known artists and designers invited to design limited edition sneakers available for sale to the general public through RYZwear.com.
Cops Hate Me features an original illustration by SOLAR from Denmark and BASE MPH from New York wrapping around the shoe.
"One side shows the artist in the midst of creating another BOMBIN' masterpiece, the other side shows "the beast" itself. In the dark of night, the angry cops prepare to pounce on the artist. It begs the question: is the artist fate the locked handcuffs on the bottom of the shoe or is it another wall dripping wet with the artist tag just like the tongue of the shoe? The blue highlights on the otherwise black shoe represent that moment when the police lights shine into the darkness of nights and show the beauty of our design," BASE MPH says.
